Valid Driver’s Licenses for Driving in Japan
■国際運転免許証（IDP）でのご利用について
■Using an International Driving Permit (IDP)
ジュネーブ条約（1949年）加盟国（※日本を除く）において発行された国際運転免許証（International Driving Permit：IDP） により、日本国内で運転することができます。
You may drive in Japan with an International Driving Permit (IDP) issued by a country that is a signatory to the 1949 Geneva Convention (excluding Japan).
国際運転免許証の日本における運転有効期間は、「発行日から1年間」かつ「日本に上陸した日から1年間」のいずれも満たす期間となります。
The IDP is valid in Japan for one year from the date of issue AND one year from the date of entry into Japan, whichever comes first.
ただし、日本の住民基本台帳に記録されている方が、出国の確認または再入国の許可を受けて日本を出国し、3か月未満の滞在中に新たな国際運転免許証を取得した後に再入国した場合、その再入国の日は国際運転免許証の運転可能期間の起算日とはならないため、日本国内での運転はできません。
However, if a person registered in the Japanese resident registry leaves Japan with permission and obtains a new IDP during a stay abroad of less than three months, the date of re-entry does not reset the validity period.
In such cases, driving in Japan is not permitted.
また、ジュネーブ条約加盟国が発行した国際運転免許証であっても、ウィーン条約等、他の条約様式に基づいて発行された国際運転免許証 による運転は、日本国内では認められていません。
Even if issued by a Geneva Convention country, IDPs issued under other conventions (e.g. Vienna Convention) are not valid for driving in Japan.

■外国運転免許証（日本語翻訳文付き）でのご利用について
■Using a Foreign Driver’s License with Japanese Translation
以下の5か国1地域 において発行された運転免許証については、政令で定める者が作成した日本語翻訳文を添付することにより、日本国内での運転が認められています。
Driver’s licenses issued by the following five countries and one region are valid for driving in Japan when accompanied by an official Japanese translation prepared by an authorized organization.
対象国・地域：
モナコ公国、スイス連邦、ドイツ連邦共和国、フランス共和国、ベルギー王国、台湾
Eligible countries / region:
Monaco, Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, and Taiwan
運転可能期間は、「日本に上陸した日から1年間」または「当該免許証の有効期間」 のいずれか短い期間となります。
The driving validity period is one year from the date of entry into Japan or until the license expiration date, whichever comes first.
ただし、日本の住民基本台帳に記録されている者、または外国人登録を受けている者が、出国の確認または再入国の許可等を受けて日本から出国し、3か月未満のうちに帰国（再上陸）した場合、当該帰国（上陸）の日は運転可能期間の起算日とはなりません。
However, if a registered resident leaves Japan and returns within less than three months, the re-entry date does not reset the driving validity period.

To ensure a safe and secure rental experience, we provide insurance coverage, roadside assistance, and safety equipment.
■安心補償制度（CDW・NOC）/ ロードサービス
■CDW & NOC Coverage / Roadside Assistance
日本国内に住所がないお客様につきましては、CDW・NOC補償制度への加入が可能ですが、加入される場合は、CDWおよびNOCを含めすべて加入していただく必要があります。一部のみの加入はできません。
CDW・NOC補償制度に加入されない場合は、下記の預り金（デポジット）をお預かりいたします。
Customers without a registered address in Japan may enroll in the CDW and NOC coverage; however, enrollment must include both CDW and NOC. Partial enrollment is not allowed.
If you choose not to enroll in the CDW & NOC coverage plan, a security deposit will be required as follows:
・5人乗り以下の車両：50,000円
Vehicles with 5 seats or fewer: JPY 50,000
・6人乗り以上の車両：100,000円
Vehicles with 6 seats or more: JPY 100,000
※車両返却時に損傷等が確認されなかった場合、預り金は全額ご返金いたします。
※ If no damage or issues are found at the time of vehicle return, the full deposit will be refunded.

ETC Card Rental Service
当店では、レンタカー利用期間中に高速道路をご利用いただくためのETCカード貸出サービスをご提供しております。
We offer an ETC card rental service to assist customers using Japanese expressways during the vehicle rental period.
ご利用にあたっての重要事項 Important points:
・ETCカードは、当社が貸し出したレンタカーのみで使用可能です
The ETC card may be used only with the vehicle rented from our company
・利用期間は、レンタカー貸渡期間中のみとなります
Usage is limited to the rental period only
・転貸・譲渡・他車両での使用は禁止されています
Lending, transferring, or using the card in other vehicles is strictly prohibited
・ETCカード貸出時に、5,000円のデポジットをお預かりします
A JPY 5,000 deposit is required when renting an ETC card
・ETCカードを問題なく返却された場合、デポジットは全額返金いたします
The deposit will be fully refunded upon proper return of the ETC card
料金について Fees:
・高速道路料金は、実際のETC通行記録に基づき精算します
Expressway tolls are settled based on actual ETC usage records
・別途、高速通行料金総額の10％（税込）をETCカード貸出手数料として申し受けます
A handling fee of 10% (tax included) of the total toll charges will be applied
ご注意ください Please note：
・ETC通行記録は即時反映されない場合があります
ETC toll records may not be reflected immediately
・返却時に通行記録が確認できない場合、当社判断により合理的に推定した金額で精算することがあります
If toll records cannot be confirmed at the time of return, charges may be reasonably estimated at the company’s discretion
・後日、実際の通行料金が推定額を下回った場合でも、差額の返金は行いません
Even if the actual toll amount is later confirmed to be lower than the estimated amount, no refund of the difference will be made
・ETCカードの紛失・破損・未返却の場合、デポジットを充当し、不足分がある場合は追加請求いたします
In case of loss, damage, or failure to return the ETC card, the deposit will be used as compensation, and additional charges may apply

All detailed terms and conditions are governed by the ETC Card Rental Agreement provided and signed in-store.

Traffic Rules & Safety Guidelines in Japan
日本で運転する際は、交通ルールを正しく理解し、必ず遵守してください。特に外国からのお客様は、日本特有の交通ルールにご注意ください。以下は特に重要なポイントです：
When driving in Japan, it is essential to fully understand and follow all traffic rules. Some rules in Japan may differ from those in your home country. Please pay special attention to the following key points:
・左側通行 Left-hand traffic
日本ではすべての道路で左側通行です。
All vehicles in Japan drive on the left side of the road.
・「止まれ」標識では完全停止が必要
Complete stop at “STOP / TOMARE” signs
徐行ではなく、必ず車両が完全に停止してください。
A full stop is required — slowing down is not sufficient.
・歩行者優先 Pedestrians have priority
横断歩道では歩行者が最優先です。
Drivers must always yield to pedestrians at crosswalks.
・シートベルト全席着用義務
Seat belts are mandatory for all passengers
後部座席を含め、全ての乗員に着用義務があります。
This includes rear seats.
・飲酒運転は厳禁 Zero tolerance for drunk driving
日本では飲酒運転は一切認められていません。
Any amount of alcohol is strictly prohibited.
・事故・トラブル時は警察へ連絡
In case of an accident or trouble
事故や接触があった場合は、必ず警察へ連絡してください。
You must contact the police immediately.
