【Insurance Coverage】
All vehicles are covered by Compulsory Automobile Liability Insurance and Voluntary Insurance.
Details of the voluntary insurance coverage are as follows:
Voluntary Insurance Coverage
• Bodily Injury: Unlimited / ¥0 deductible
• Property Damage: Unlimited / ¥0 deductible
Deductible: ¥200,000
• Vehicle Damage: Actual cash value
Deductible: ¥200,000
• Personal Injury: Up to ¥50,000,000 per person
(Valid only while riding in the vehicle)
【Non-Operation Charge (NOC / Business Compensation)】
If an accident, theft, breakdown, or damage occurs during the rental period and the vehicle requires repair or cleaning, a Non-Operation Charge (NOC) will be applied as compensation for lost business during the downtime, regardless of the extent of damage or repair period.
• Vehicle returned in drivable condition:
¥50,000
• Vehicle returned in non-drivable condition:
¥100,000 + towing fee
• Even if the vehicle is drivable, if it is not returned to the originally designated location
(e.g., abandoned on the road), a fee of ¥100,000 will be charged.
• Damage to tires (including punctures) and towing fees are the customer’s responsibility.
• Even minor malfunctions that constitute a violation of road traffic laws
(e.g., malfunctioning turn signals) will be treated as non-drivable.
Notes
Cases in which the insurance/compensation system is not applicable
In the event of an accident, if the driver fails to follow the prescribed procedures, such as contacting the police or the Company.
When the rental agreement is violated.
Cases that fall under the exemption clause of the insurance policy of the non-life insurance concluded by the Company
Accidents caused by willful misconduct
Flat tire or tire damage
Loss or damage of wheel caps
Loss of keys
Other cases that fall under the exemption clause of the insurance policy of the damage insurance we have
In the event of negligence in the use or management of the vehicle.
Damage not covered by the above insurance indemnity plans, or damage in excess of the indemnity limit, shall be borne by the customer at his/her actual expense.
Damages that are not covered by the insurance compensation system or that exceed the compensation limit will be borne entirely by the customer.
