Eligibility to rent a car 

 Q1・Can beginner drvers (driving with a driver's license issued less than one year ago) also rent a car?

A. Of course you can.  You must put beginner marks on the front and back of your car.

※ For some car models, you must be at least 21 years old and have had a driver's license for at least three years. Please ask us for the detail.

 Q2・Can I rent a car with a provisional driver's license?

A. We do not lend to people with provisional licenses.

After a person with a driver's license rents a car, it is prohibited for someone with a provisional license to drive the car.

Accidents caused by people with provisional licenses are not covered by insurance or compensation systems. You have to pay all fees.

 Q3・I have an interbational driving license, can I rent a car?

A3.You can rent a car by presenting a valid international drivier's license that is approved in Japan and a passport.

①International drivier's license: An international license issued by a country that is a member of the Geneva Convention by the format of that convention.
(You can not drive in Japam with a Convention,EU Union, or other format international driving license.)
②Home country license and official Japanese translation:For the Swiss Confederation, the German Confederation, the French Republic, the Kingdom ob Belgium, Taiwan, and the Principality of Monaco, an international driver's license from their own country and a Japanese translation prepared by person specified by government ordinance are required.
(Yor can not drive in Japan with an international driver's license issued by the above countries and regions.)

 Q4・Can I rent a car if I forget my driver's license?

A4. You can't. rent a car. Please show your driver's license before leaving the car.

 Q5・Are there any situations where you can not rent a car even though I have a driver's license?

We can not lend you a car in the following cases.

*If the driver at the time of reservation and the driver renting the car are different.

*If you have had any troubles in the past, such as late payments or non-returns.

*If you are drunk.

In principle, please pay with a credit card affiliated with our company.

Depending on your vehicle type, you may be required to have a valid credit card.

 Q6・Can I rent a microbus with a mid-sized motor vehicle license?

You need a large motor vehicle license. If the 8 ton restriction is lifted, you can drive even with a med-sized motor vehicle license.

 

【Reservation】

 Q1・What information do I need to make a reservation.

Date and time of car use, car type, driver's name, phone number, present or absence of a car seat,etc. An email address is also required for online reservations.

 Q2・What should I do if I'm late for my reservation?

Please contact the store where you made the reservation.

If one hour passes without contacting us, your reservation may be canceled and you may have to pay a cancellation fee.

 Q3・Can only the driver make a reservation?

Non-drivers can also make a reservations.
However, please be sure to provide the driver's name at the time of reservation.

 Q4・Can I specify the car model?

Rental cars are categorized by size and performance, and we will provide cars with similar specifications. If you ask to the sales office, we may be able to arrange a car of your choice.

Even if we accept your request for a specific car model, we may not be able to accommodate your request depending on the situation on the day.

 Q5・Can you arrenge a driver for me?

No we can't. Rental car companies are prohibited from driving or offering drivers.

You should arrange a driver yourself.

 Q6・Can I make a reservation on the same day?

Reservations can be made online up to 1 hour before use.
If it's been over an hour, please call the store.

However, depending on the reservation status, we may not be able to provide a car.

 Q7・How many days in advance can I make a reservation?

Reservations can be made 50 days in advance from the date of reservation.

EX)  if you make a reservation on July 1st

Departure date and time : Can be reservad from July 1st to August 20th.

 Q8・Can I rent a car for more than a month?

Yes, you can. Call us directly.
Corporate members can receive discounted monthly fees.

 Q9・Does the price change depending on the rental period?

Pricing varies depending on the store and season.

 Q10・Can I reserve multiple cars at once?

Yes, you can.

Each reservation is verified one by one.

Q11・How can I confirm, change, or cancel my reservation?

Please call the store where you made the reservation.

Cancellation fees may apply.

 ・7 days before the ride reservation:【Free】
 ・6 days to 3 days before ride reservation【20% of basic fare】
 ・2days to the day before ride reservation【30% of basic fare】
 ・The reservation date 【50% of basic fare】

If you cancel without notice after the boarding time, you will be asked to pay the full basic fare.

 Q12・I want to check the details of my online reservation.

After making a reservation, you will get an email with plan and campaign name.

 Q13・Can you pick me up from the airport?

We provide aitport transportation service at Itami store and Hakodate store.
Wait at the designated waiting area.
THere is no dispatch service to designated destinations or hotels.

 Q14・Can I bring my pet along?

It is possible if there is a pet in the cage.
If you plan on bringing your pet in a car, please be sure to call us. If your pet damages the car or requires cleaning,we will charge you for that fee.

 Q15・Is it possible to rent outside business hours?

※Currently available only at Itami store.
Flights arriving between 7am and 9am: Overtime fee 2,200 yen per car
Flights arriving between 7pm and 9pm: Overtime fee 1,100 yen per car

For out-of-hours rentals,reservations must be made by phone.Please call us at least 2 days before your departure date and tell us the phone number where we can contact you on the same day.

※Please be sure to contact the store if there are any changes to your flight's arrival time.

 Q16・Is it possible to return the car before business hours?

※Currently available only at Itami store.
Flights arriving between 7am and 9am: Overtime fee 2,200 yen per car.
Flights arriving between 7pm and 9pm: Overtime fee 1,100 yen per car.

For out-of-hours rentals,reservations must be made by phone.Please call us at least 2 days before your departure date and tell us the phone number where we can contact you on the same day.

Insurance and compensation system

 Q1・Do I need to take out insurance in addition to the basic car price?

The basic fee includes a minimum amount of compensation.
Ih you subscribe to the NOC compensation or vehicle/property accident liability compensation as additional compensation, additional fees will be incurred.

 Q2・What is the difference between the Saftey course and standard course?

The amount of compensation in case of an accident is different.

・Objective compensation:3,000 million yen

・Personal injury compensation:3,000 million yen

 Q3・Tell me about the vehicle and property accident liability compensation system(CDW).

This is a system that compensates for the vehicle deductible and property deductible that customers will have to pay in the event of an accident.

 Q4・Tell me about the bisiness compensation.(NOC)

In the event of accident, theft, breakdown or defacement, our vehicles will require repaie or cleaning. This is a fee that the custmer pays to us as part of the business compensation during the period when the car is unavailable. See details here.

 Q5・Tell me about compensation system.(NOC)

This option covers non-operation charges that occur in the event of an accident.It’s not insurance.See details here.

 Q6・Is there anything that is not covered by insurance or compensation system?

・If you are at the scene of an accident and have not contacted the police or our company and procedures have not been taken.

・If you are in violation of the rental terms and conditions.

・If the case falls under any of the cases listend in the insurance terms and conditions that are not coverd by compensation.
・In case of inappropriate usage or management failure on your part.

 Q7・Do insurance and compensation apply even if there are multiple drivers?

When renting a car, the person who offers to be the driver will be covered by insurance and compensation.
Please check the above for cases where insurance does not apply.

 

Regarding returns

 Q1・渋滞などで返却予定時間に間に合わないのですが、どうしたらいいですか?

If you will be late for the arrival time set at departure,please notify the office in advance at least one hour before the return time. If you contact us in advance, the excess amount for up to 3 houres will be halved.

 Q2・What happens if I forget to refuel when returning the car?

Basically, please return the vehicle wiyh a full tank of gasoline.
If there are any circumstances, payment can be made at the time of return.(190yen/L)
