Car seat

It is required by Law that Children under the age of six use a car seat.

 You must apply for a car seat online or by phone ,when making a rental car reservation.

It is the driver's responsibility to install a child seat.

 Option fee：1,100 yen per one car seat (tax included)
 

◆ Cautions◆

  • Please be sure to reserve a car seat when making your rental car reservation, if your passenger is a child under the age of 6. If you do not have a reservation and a child seat is not available, you will not be allowed to use the rental car.
  • Our staff can assist you in installing the car seat, but the final safety check is the responsibility of the customer.
  • Our company is not responsible for any injuries caused by improper installation of the car seat.
  • If a car seat is damaged or lost ,you may be required to cover the cost of replacement.
  • We cannot determine if ythe car seat you bring is suitable for your child.

Please be aware that Japanese safety standerds may be different than your country of origin.If you intend to bring your own car seat please do not rely soley on the manufacturers safty mark, be sure to check Japanese regulations as well or your saet may not be acceptable.

※The car seats we provide can not be attached to three point or two point type seatbelt . Junior seats can be used with three point type seatbelt.

※Car seats other than junior seats can not be used in the passenger seat of our rental cars.

※Car seats other than junior seats can not be used in commercial vehicles.
