Terms of Use

Can I make a reservation without registering as a member?

Yes, you can make a reservation without registering.

Can beginners rent a car?

Yes, you can rent a car even if you are a beginner.
※ We offer beginner's mark free of charge. Please inform the staff at the reception.

Can I rent a car with an international driving permit?

Yes, you can rent a car. Please present a valid international driving permit recognized in Japan along with your passport.

 

About Reservations

How far in advance can I make a reservation?

You can make a reservation up to 180 days in advance (for in-store payment).
※ For advance credit card payments, reservations can be made up to 50 days in advance.

Can I change or cancel my reservation?

If you wish to change or cancel your reservation, please contact us via email.
※ Please note that a cancellation fee may apply if you cancel your reservation.

Free up to 7 days before the departure date
30% of the base fee from 6 days before to the day before departure
50% of the base fee on the departure date (same day)
100% of the base fee if the reservation time has passed

Do you have child seats?

We offer child seats as an option for passenger cars. However, please note that the number is limited, and all child seats require a reservation in advance.
Please install the child seat yourself. Even if our staff assists with the installation, please ensure that you check the safety yourself before use.
Please note that we are not responsible for any accidents or injuries caused by improper installation.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes, pets are allowed under the following conditions and precautions:
1.Only dogs and cats are allowed.
2.Pets must be kept in a cage and should not come into direct contact with the vehicle.
3.You must provide your own cage.
※ Please note that if the vehicle is soiled or has any lingering odors that require cleaning or deodorizing, a separate fee of 30,000 yen will be charged as a business suspension fee.

Can I use ETC?

All passenger cars are equipped with standard ETC devices, so if you have an ETC card, you can use it for free.
We do not offer sales or rental services for ETC cards. Cash or credit card payments are also accepted on Japanese toll roads, so it is advisable to have alternative payment methods like cash.

Can I smoke (including e-cigarettes)?

All vehicles are non-smoking. Smoking of all types, including heated tobacco and vapes, is strictly prohibited inside the vehicle.
Please note that if the smell of tobacco is detected inside the vehicle, a separate deodorizing fee of 30,000 yen will be charged.

 

Departure Procedures

Is there a shuttle service?

We do not offer a shuttle service. Please come directly to our office.

Is it possible for multiple people to drive?

Yes, others besides the contract holder can drive. Please present the driver's license of everyone who will be driving.

What should I do if I am likely to be late for my departure time?

If you expect to be late, please make sure to contact the office. If you do not arrive after your scheduled departure time, you may receive a confirmation email from the office. Please note that if you do not contact us and are more than one hour late, your reservation will be treated as a cancellation, and the reserved car may no longer be available.

 

Return Procedures

I would like to extend the rental time. What should I do?

If you wish to extend the rental time during your use, please contact the office as soon as possible.

I want to return the car earlier than planned. Is that possible?

Yes, it is possible.
If you wish to terminate the rental early, please contact the office and obtain approval before returning the car.

Can I return the car outside of business hours?

Returning the car outside of business hours is not possible. The latest return time is 7:00 PM.

About Insurance and Compensation System

Do I need to purchase additional insurance besides the basic car rental fee?

The basic fee you pay includes basic coverage (personal liability, property damage liability, and personal accident insurance).
However, vehicle compensation for the rental car is not included. You can purchase additional insurance for Non-Operation Charge (NOC) coverage or vehicle compensation for the rental car.Please refer tothe Insurance and Compensation Systemfor details.

What is the Non-Operation Charge (NOC)?

The NOC is compensation for business interruption that you pay if the vehicle requires repair or cleaning due to an accident, theft, malfunction, damage, smoking (including e-cigarettes), burn marks on seats, etc., not caused by our responsibility. The compensation amount is fixed regardless of the extent of damage or repair time as follows:

If the vehicle is returned to the rental location by self-driving: 20,000 yen
If the vehicle cannot be self-driven: 50,000 yen

Does the insurance compensation system apply if there are multiple drivers?

As long as the driver's license is presented at the time of departure and the person is registered as a driver, the same insurance coverage as the contract holder will apply.

In what cases does the insurance compensation system not apply?

The insurance does not apply if the required procedures, such as contacting the police and our company from the accident scene, are not followed, if the rental agreement is violated, if the cause falls under the exclusions of the insurance policy, or if there was a fault in the use or management of the vehicle.
